Keith Chambers is a Lexington-based woodworker whose signature pieces are contemporary clocks sculpted from Kentucky hardwoods and rare exotic species, finished with tung oil and wax and never stained. Each wooden gear clock contains over 200 individually crafted parts — including 36 in the dial alone — with laminated, shaped gears accurate to within one second per month. A Kentucky Crafted–certified artist, Chambers also offers a line of battery-driven clocks that bring whimsy and artistry to everyday timekeeping.
