Woodstock Lavender Farm & Co.
About
Woodstock Lavender Co. is a family-operated lavender farm in Pulaski County, Kentucky, founded in 2013 by mother-daughter duo Mary Ann May and Allison Horseman on land that has been in the family for four generations. The farm's backstory begins during the Great Depression, when Allison’s grandfather borrowed $600 to purchase the land, then traveled by train to Detroit to work and send money home — saving the farm and beginning a legacy that Allison and Mary Ann now carry forward through lavender.
Starting with just 50 plants, the farm has grown to more than 700 lavender plants and offers a full line of handcrafted bath and body products, home goods, and kitchen goods including culinary lavender, loose-leaf teas, and essential oil distilled right on the farm. All products are made in small batches with responsibly sourced, largely sulfate-free and paraben-free ingredients. During the summer season, visitors can pick their own lavender, enjoy farm-to-table meals, take part in yoga classes, and explore the farm’s butterfly house.
Woodstock Lavender Co. products are Kentucky Proud certified and available at woodstocklavender.com and at regional Kentucky craft markets.
