About
Tater Knob Pottery & Farm is a Berea institution tucked on 30 peaceful acres along Wolf Gap Road, where Sarah Culbreth and Jeff Enge — both graduates of Berea College's Ceramic Apprenticeship Program — have been hand-throwing red clay pottery since 1979. The studio specializes in twenty-five functional forms including place settings, pitchers, vases, lamps, bells, and their celebrated spoonbread bakers. Visitors are welcome to watch the potters at work six days a week, and every piece carries the individual character of the hands and the land that shaped it.
