Karen Million is a Nicholasville-based fiber artist who creates stuffed animals and figures from felted, repurposed wool sweaters — transforming thrifted clothing into creatures with their own distinct personalities. A Scandinavian-knit sweater becomes a perky bunny; an argyle becomes a box turtle; a cable knit turns into an ivory lamb. Each animal is hand-stitched for durability and designed to be held and loved by young hands or proudly displayed on a shelf.
