About
Carin Lovell is a Lexington-based leather artist and the inventor of Marbl'd™ Leather — a federally trademarked process she developed after wondering, on a trip to Florence, Italy, whether the ancient art of paper marbling could be applied to leather. The result is a line of one-of-a-kind jewelry, clutches, wallets, and accessories whose swirling, painterly surfaces are unlike anything else on the market. Many pieces also reflect her Kentucky roots with equine-inspired motifs, and components are sourced directly from Spain and Greece.
