Duane Keaton is a Georgetown-based artist who creates large-scale portrait mosaics built entirely from LEGO® bricks. A former public school art teacher with two decades in the classroom, Keaton launched his mosaic practice in 2022 — and viewers who approach his colorful, eye-catching pieces expecting photographs are often surprised to find them made brick by brick. His work has been exhibited in galleries across central Kentucky and in the State Capitol Building, and he is a Kentucky Crafted–certified artist.
